AES Channel Assignments:
The Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) specification
defines only channel pairs (1-16) and not audio locations (Left, Right, etc.). Until
the relationship is specified, USL will use those established previously in the
cinema industry. Since Dolby® equipment does not currently follow the DCI spec,
USL has provided a connector that matches their DMA-8 pinout.
