Step 3:
Release the lever to close shutter
Step 2:
Depress the ferrule on the cleaning
tape using same pressure as a writing
pen. Move the connector from left to
right.
When cleaning angled polished
connectors (APC), be sure to turn the
ferrule so that end face is making
contact.
Step 1:
Open the shutter by gripping the
lever. The shutter will open and a
new section of cleaning tape will be
available.

Step 6 :
Engage the lever two or three times to
verify the cleaning tape is moving
smoothly.
Step 3 :
Load the new cleaning tape onto the
winding reel. Secure it using a
bonding tape.
Step 5:
Re-hook the cover onto the right side of
the cassette housing.
Re-snap the tab on the left side of the
cover
Step 2 :
Pull the cleaning tape from the
winding reel
Step 4:
Reinsert the winding reel and cassette
reel.
Route the cleaning tape over the guide
rollers and wiping board.
Step 1:
Turn the screw with a coin or flat
head screw driver.
Remove the cassette reel and
winding reel.
How to Replace The Cassette Reel

manufactured replacement refills may void the warranty.

Do NOT reuse cleaning tape as this may cause cross contamination and cause permanent damage.

A new refill is needed when the lever becomes difficult to depress.

Do not leave the cassette in temperatures exceeding 60

C/140
˚
F for extended periods.
