3. The outlet on the compressor can be regu-
lated.
4. The pressure of the air
outlet can be changed,
by turning the regulating
knob (Fig. 6). Rotate the
knob clockwise to increase
pressure and anti-clock-
wise to decrease pressure.
NOTE: To obtain the correct output reading
on the regulated output gauge, the air must
be flowing through the outlet. The regulating
valve should be adjusted and the gauge read
with the outlet valve open and the air being
discharged from the regulated outlet through
the accessory being used. To increase the air
pressure, rotate the regulating valve clockwise.
To decrease the pressure, rotate the regulating
valve anti-clockwise.
NOTE: If you do not allow the air to discharge
while you are setting the regulator, the pres-
sure as indicated on the regulated outlet
gauge will be incorrect. This gauge ONLY in-
dicates the correct pressure while air is being
discharged from the outlet.
5. On completion of the task, i.e. when you
have finished using the compressor, or when
you are leaving the compressor unattended,
turn off the compressor in the following way:
• Press down the on/off switch.
• Wait for the pressurised air to bleed from the
release valve under the pressure switch cover.
NOTE: When you press the button down you
should hear a short air discharge (Approx. 1/2
second).
• Switch off the electrical power supply and re-
move the electrical plug.
• Pull the ring (Fig. 7) on the
safety valve to ensure all the
pressurised air is released
from the tank, or open the
drain cock to release the
pressure from the tank.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Before checking or carrying out

maintenance on the machine, move the switch
to OFF “O”, disconnect the power supply by
removing the machine’s plug from the socket
and release all the air in the connected tools.

WARNING: Hot surfaces. Wait until the ma-

chine cools before carrying out maintenance.
Cleaning after every use:
- Clean regularly and take care of your machine
to ensure that it remains in good working or-
der and has a long lifetime.
- Clean the machine using a soft brush or cloth.
- Do not spray or soak the machine with water.
- Do not use inflammable substances, deter-
gents or solvents. They could damage the
machine beyond repair. The plastic parts are
prone to damage by chemical agents.
Before every use:
- Check that the machine is in perfect condi-
tion.
After the first 20 hours of use and every 100
hours of use or every 12 months:
- Completely replace the lubrication oil (where
present).
Every 50 hours of use:
- Clean the intake filter. If the tool produces
dust, for example sandblasting, the machine’s
filter must be cleaned and checked more often.
Every 300 hours of use:
- Replace the air intake filter.
- Bring the machine to an authorised assistance
centre to have the non-return valve and hoses
checked (where fitted).

- After each use, clean the entire machine and
all its accessories carefully (see the Mainte-
nance paragraph).
- Keep the machine out of reach of children, in
a stable safe position, in a dry place not subject
to extreme temperatures and free of dust.
- Protect the machine from direct sunlight,
keeping it in the dark where possible, or in the
shade.
-Do not close the machine in nylon bags as
damp could form and damage the tool.
- Use the original packaging to protect the ma-
chine.
