IPC Restore:
restored the focus of the IP camera auto focus (an operation not possible for an IP camera with an
ONVIF protocol).
IMPORTANT NOTE
:
You are strongly advised to back up the recording files before upgrading the firmware version.
After the
backup, the files may be played using the Player software contained in the old firmware version.
The basic configurations can be set again after having loaded the default settings (video output control,
recording parameters, etc.).

Events
Click on [
Main menu Advanced Events] to access the interface shown below.
•
Event Type:
three abnormal event types are supported: Disk No Space, Disk Error and Video Loss.
•
Enable Exception:
this is used to activate an abnormal alarm.
•
Show Message:
this is used to set the appearance of the icon on the screen when an exception is detected. For icon
types, see section 4.
•
Send Email
: this is used to send the alarm images to a specified email address.
•
Alarm Out:
this can be used to connect an external alarm sensor. Select [Enable] or [Disable].
•
Trigger Alarm Out
: it is possible to select the Alarm Outputs that have to be activated automatically when the event
is triggered. The available options are:
o
Local: alarm output that is located on the NVR’s connector.
o
Remote (IP): alarm output that is located on each IP camera’s connector.
o
All: to select all the available alarm outputs.

Latch time:
the external sensor alarm duration can be set when an exception is detected (10sec, 20sec, 40sec,
60sec).
•
Buzzer:
this is used to program the duration of the audible signal generated when an exception is detected (OFF,
10sec, 20sec, 40sec, 60sec);

HDD No Space / Disk Error
An alarm is generated if the hard disk is not detected (damaged HDD, power supply
problem), automatic HDD overwriting is not enabled or there is not enough free space.
Video Loss
An alarm is sent when the NVR cannot detect the video signal (damaged camera,
interrupted or damaged wire, power supply problem).
