Jumpers
JP1:
Closed:
the internal short-circuit isolator of the base is shorted. To be closed when the base is
power supplied and controlled by a fire alarm signalling circuit of a fire detection control panel.
Open: default setting.
Note
: the JP1 jumper must be closed during the walk addressing procedure and at the end it must be
removed.
JP2:
Closed: default setting.
Open:
power off the base.
Note
: the JP2 jumper must be removed for a few seconds during the walk addressing procedure; see the
control panel programming manual.
JP3:
Closed:
The addressable base is used in stand-alone mode. To be closed when the base is
power supplied and controlled by a fire alarm signalling circuit of a fire detection control panel.
Open: default setting.
The addressable base is used in conjunction with a detector.
Note
: the JP3 jumper must be closed during the walk addressing procedure and at the end it must be
removed.
