INSTALLATION WITH LOCKING CLIP

While pushing into the child restraint, pull the seat  

belt tight to eliminate any slack then pinch both pieces 

of seat belt webbing directly behind the latch plate. 

Unbuckle the belt without letting the webbing slip.

Thread the locking clip onto both lap and shoulder  

belts 1" from the latch plate.

Re-buckle the vehicle belt. 

CARRIER INSTALLATION WITH VEHICLE SEAT BELT

The locking clip can be found on the underside of the base (page 15). The locking clip can be used for 

 CARRIER

 installation with Lap/Shoulder belt combination when the seat belt does not lock.
