* When you fry the fries for the second time, they will be lighter and
crispier.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
AFTER THE FOOD IS FRIED:
Be sure to turn the temperature control knob to the OFF
position and unplug the deep fryer.
When the food is ready, remove the lid, hang the basket on the
hook, and let the excess oil drip into the oil pan.
Warning: if the lid is removed, hot steam will be
released. Use extreme caution when handling. Keep your
face and unprotected skin away from the steam outlet.
Take out the basket and place the food on paper towels to
absorb excess oil. Do not touch the basket while it is still hot.
Always use the handle.
Once the excess oil is drained, place the food on a baking
sheet lined with paper towels to drain the remaining oil.
Place the basket into the deep fryer.
Do not move the fryer until it has cooled completely.
Unplug the power cord and store it.
