Slide alarm from back-plate.
Insert 3 x replacement ‘AA’ ba2eries
(no1ng polarity – see sketch)
Replace back-plate and test the alarm

Alarm will not a2ach to moun1ng bracket unless ba2eries are installed. Removal of ba2eries
will render the unit inopera1ve.

End-of-life - This alarm will chirp twice every 30 seconds, with two red LED flashes a#er at least 10 years
opera1on to let you know it has reached its end of life. A replacement needs to be purchased.
