Switch Mode
TO DISPLAY THE SWITCH MODE
The SWITCH MODE determines if the output energizes above or below the set point, if the
deadband is above or below the set point, and if the output status LED and IAW signal flash
when the output energizes or de-energizes. To simplify set-up, the One Series is programmed to
configure the switch output status, LED and IAW status, and deadband operation, based on the
type of application desired. There are four switch modes. Each set the operating characteristics
as follows:

These modes pre-configure the One Series for logical operation. Example: For High Limit Alarm,
when the process variable goes above set point the output turns ON, both the local and remote
status indicators flash signaling a tripped output, and the switch resets once the process variable
has dropped below the set point value and the deadband.
To display the SWITCH MODE press the
arrow key:

NOTE: If there is no keypad activity for approximately 4 seconds,
the unit returns to normal operation.
TO CHANGE THE SWITCH MODE
1. First display the SWITCH MODE by pressing the
arrow key.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the and
keys. A cursor will flash on the display.
You are now in the EDIT mode.
3. Use the and keys to scroll the display to the desired mode.
4. To save the new value, press the
and
keys simultaneously. Unit reverts to
NORMAL OPERATING MODE.
NOTE: If the product remains in the EDIT mode, and there is no keypad activity for approximately
30 seconds, the unit returns to normal operating mode and new data is NOT saved.
