UNICHARGE 4.12 et UNICHARGE 8.12
Error message
Causes
Solution
The WARNING indicator lights and the
charger beeps.
Reverse polarity battery.
Check the connections.
Problem of battery
connection (cables, lugs
...).
Battery voltage selection
error (Unixarge 4.12 only).
Check that the voltage selected
matches the voltage of your
battery.
Battery voltage too low.
Check that the voltage selected
matches the voltage of your
battery.
Check that the selected voltage
matches the voltage of your
battery. If the battery voltage is
less than 3.5V for a 6V and 5V
battery for a 12V battery, the
charge can not start. Select the
Manual Charge mode to force
the load (See MANUAL
CHARGE).
The WARNING indicator lights and the
charger beeps.
Overvoltage battery
(> 15V for a 12V battery,
> 7.5V for a 6V battery).
Check your battery. Replace if it
is necessary.
The load has stopped in the REPAIR
SB (2) or EQUALIZATION (5) stage
and the WARNING indicator lights up.
The battery is too
sulphated.
Check your battery. Replace if it
is necessary.
Battery does not hold
charge.
Check your battery. Use the
RECOND mode (see RECOND,
Unicharge 8.12 only).
Charging stopped in the CHARGE
