Steam ironing
1. Plug the iron into the mains supply.
2. Steam ironing is only possible when the highest temperatures shown on the Temperature Control
Button (14) are selected. Otherwise, water may escape through the Soleplate (1).
3. Wait until the Pilot Light (13) goes out, which indicates that the selected temperature has been
reached.
4. Turn the Steam Control Button (8) to the required position.
5. When the ironing is finished and during breaks in ironing, place the iron in its upright position.
6. Disconnect the iron from the mains supply. Pour out any remaining water and leave the iron to cool off.
Spray
1. The spray can be used in any setting, either in dry or steam ironing, as long as the Tank (3) is filled
with water.
2. Press the Spray Button (10) for this function.
Note:
This Spray Button (10) has to be pressed repetitively to start this function for the first time.
Shot of steam
Shot of steam gives extra steam for removing persistent wrinkles.
1. Place the Temperature Control Button (14) at the “MAX” position (Figure 3) and wait until the Pilot
Light (13) goes off.
2. Wait for a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fiber before pressing again.
Note:
For the first steam quality, do not use more than three successive bursts each time. Several
pumping actions are needed to start this function. Excessive use of this feature will cause the iron to
cool, ensure that the Pilot Light (13) is out, before operating the Steam Button (9).

Faults
The iron emits an odor or
smoke.
The iron does not heat.
The iron does not steam.
Reasons
The iron gives off an odor when
turned on for the first time.
Check the power supply, there
might be problems with Power
Cord (11).
The Water Tank (3) may be
empty.
Solutions
Oils used during manufacture
need to be burnt off allow ten
minutes for odor to disappear.
The iron should be plugged into a
230 V, AC electrical outlet only.
The Temperature Control Button
(14) must be set at the desired
temperature.
Turn the Steam Control Button
(8) to “
” position and add
water. Allow the iron to heat, and
then set the steam deal to the
steam setting.
