The Skip Function only works when a Linear Scanning Style has been selected.
7.5 Selecting the type of Auditory Feedback
The Auditory Feedback is what you hear in the loudspeaker during scanning,
when a button is pressed or when the level is changed. There are 4 different
settings for Auditory Feedback.
Prompts Only
By default the Auditory Feedback is set to Prompts Only. When HouseMate is
scanning the recorded prompts are played back as the scan advances from one
button to the next. When a button is selected the Infra-red command is
transmitted.
Clicks Only
When Auditory Feedback is set to Clicks Only, HouseMate plays back internal
clicks rather than recorded prompts. When a button is selected a different click is
played back and the Infra-red command is transmitted.
