Setting CIDCW (Caller ID on Call Waiting)
CIDCW sets the Caller ID on Call Waiting (CIDCW) displays the name and number of
an incoming call while you are on the line. Call Waiting Deluxe (CWDX) allows you
to handle call waiting calls in seven different ways.
1) Press the
MENU
soft key. Select the Global Setup
menu, and then the CIDCW submenu.
2) Press
volume up/down
to select
L 1

L 2
, and then
press the
OK
soft key.
3) Press
volume up/down

and then press the
OK
soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
Setting the Area Code
If you enter a 3-digit area code number in the "Area Code" option, your local area
code does not appear in the Caller ID message. When calls are received from outside
your local area code, you will see a full 10-digit number.
1) Press the
MENU
soft key. Select the Global Setup
menu, and then the Area Code submenu.
2) Press
volume up/down
to select
L 1
or
L 2
, and then
press the
OK
soft key.
4) Use the number keypad (0-9) to enter a 3-digit area code. If an area code has
already been stored, it will appear in the display. Press the
DELETE
soft key to
delete the stored code, then enter a new one.
5) Press the
OK
soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
