Creating
Sites
Sites
contain
the
radio
frequency
information
used
by
trunked
radio
systems.
To
create
a
site
for
the
system,
select
Edit
Site
from
the
system’s
menu.
Then,
select
Create
New
Site.
Enter
a
name
for
the
site.
You
will
then
see
the
site
menu.
Edit
Name
–
Lets
you
change
the
Site’s
name.
Edit
Band
Plan
–
Lets
you
enter
or
edit
the
site’s
band
plan.
Edit
Frequency
–
Lets
you
add
or
change
the
frequencies
used
by
the
site.
Attenuator:
Off
–
Allows
you
to
attenuate
signals
when
receiving
the
site,
if
set
to
On.
Set
Location
–
Lets
you
enter
the
site’s
geographic
location.
Delete
Site
–
Allows
you
to
delete
the
site
from
the
database.
Editing
the
Band
Plan
Note:
Most
P25
trunked
systems
automatically
receive
the
band
plan
from
the
control
channel.
On
these
systems,
you
do
not
need
to
enter
a
band
plan.
If
you
do
enter
a
band
plan
for
such
a
system,
it
will
be
overwritten
by
the
band
plan
information
provided
on
the
control
channel.
To
set
the
band
plan,
select
Edit
Band
Plan
from
the
Site
menu.
Then,
select
the
table
entry
to
edit.
Enter
the
upper
frequency
for
the
table
entry.
Then
click
next.
