ANSWERING A CALL FROM THE BASE UNIT
For example, to answer a call on line 1:
1. The Base Unit rings, and the corresponding red
line 1 on the base flashes.
2. Press the button or press the button.
3. Speak into the Base Unit microphone.
4. When you finish the call, press to hang up.
ANSWERING A CALL FROM THE HANDSET
For example, to answer a call on line 1:
1. The Handset rings, and the
line1
LED flashes.
2. If the Handset is not in the Base Unit, press the button, or to
answer the call.
- OR -
If the Handset is in the Base Unit, the Autotalk feature allows you to answer
the call by simply picking up the Handset and beginning your conversation.
3. When you finish the call, place the Handset back on the Base Unit.
AutoStandby
automatically hangs up the phone. There is no need to press
talk to hang up.
- OR -
If the Handset is away from the Base Unit, press to hang up the phone.
NOTE: If both lines are ringing, you can press to answer the line that
rang first.
