Maintenance

Low Battery Alert 

When.the.battery.pack.s.very.low,.the.phone.s.programmed.to.elmnate.functons.n.
order.to.save.power..When.LOW.BATTERY.appears.n.the.handset.dsplay.and.the.
phone.s.n.standby,.none.of.the.keys.wll.operate..If.you.are.on.a.call,.complete.your.
conversaton.as.quckly.as.possble,.and.return.the.handset.to.the.cradle.

The.battery.pack.needs.to.be.charged.when.the.empty.battery.con.appears.

Cleaning the Battery Contacts

To.mantan.a.good.charge,.clean.the.chargng.contacts.on.the.handset.
once.a.month..Dampen.a.cloth.wth.plan.water..Gently.rub.the.damp.cloth.
over.the.chargng.contacts.untl.all.vsble.drt.s.removed..Dry.the.contacts.
thoroughly.before.returnng.the.handset.to.the.cradle.

Caution: 

Do.not.use.pant.thnner,.alcohol,.or.other.chemcal.products..

Doing so may discolor the surface of the telephone and damage the finish. 

Battery Replacement and Handling 

Wth.average.use,.your.phone’s.battery.should.last.approxmately.one.year..To.order.replacement.batteres,.please.
contact.Unden’s.Parts.Department..The.contact.nformaton.s.lsted.on.the.back.cover.page.

Caution: 

Use.only.battery.pack.BT-1008..
Do.not.remove.the.batteres.from.the.handset.to.charge.them..

Never throw the battery into a fire, disassemble, or heat them.
