• If the download is interrupted or canceled, the D3588 reverts to the original copy
of the downloaded phonebook.
• If you delete the pairing information for a cellular phone, the downloaded
phonebook from that phone will also be deleted.
Managing your Phonebooks
Your phone stores Home and Cell phonebooks separately. To open the phonebook,
make sure the phone is in idle and press PHONEBOOK. Use UP/DOWN to select
the specific list you would like to review. Then select View Numbers. Once in the
phonebook, you will have several options:

to scroll through the entries from A to Z.

to scroll from Z to A.

to view detail information.
PHOnebOOk
to return to the previous display.
jump to entries that start
with a certain letter
the number key corresponding to the first letter of
the entry you want. Press the number key for the next
letter and the list will narrow down to entries only with
those letters
dial an entry using your
landline
HOMe/flasH
or pick up the corded handset from the
base.
dial an entry using your
cellular line from the
CellLink
Cell
. If you have more than one cellular phones paired,
use
uP / DOWn
to highlight the phone you want to call
out on and then press
seleCt
.
review the current
entry’s details

after scrolling to the desired phonebook
entry.
copy a cellular
phonebook entry to the
home phonebook
Menu/seleCt
. From the available options, select Store
into PB . A confirmation tone sounds and Done!
displays.
edit the current entry
Menu/seleCt
to open the menu, then select Edit .
delete the current entry
Menu/seleCt
MENU and then select Delete. When the
system prompts you to confirm, select Yes .
close or exit the
phonebook
enD
on the handset or
Play/stOP
on the base.
Adding Phonebook Entries (Home only)
With the phone in standby, open the phonebook. Select
HOME
, then
Create New.
Enter a name & number; cordless handsets also prompt you to choose a personal
ring.
