Gear Selection
The UNIBOR E4000 magnetic drill is fitted with a 2-speed gearbox. The gear is used to
reduce the output speed when using larger cutters.
The Element 40 magnetic drill is fitted with a 2-speed gearbox. The gear is used to reduce the output
speed when using larger cutters.
Up to 1-3/16” diameter cutters, gear position 1 should be used.
1-3/16” to 2” diameter cutters, gear position 2 should be used
Gear postion 1: High speed
600RPM for cutters
upto 1-3/16" Diameter
Gear position 2: Lower speed
300RPM for cutters over
1-3/16" and up to 2" Diameter
