When you have finished cleaning, unplug the power cord from the socket, empty the water tank (13), wind
the power cord (6) around the cord holder wraps and carefully remove the microfiber pad (K) from the
mop head (M).
CAUTION:
the cloth pad may be very hot! Store the device upright in a dry area.
CAUTION:
To sanitize an area of your floor, leave the steam mop head over the area for a minimum of 8
seconds, but
no longer than 50 seconds.
Leaving the steam mop head in a stationary position for longer
than the recommended period could cause build-up of a pale residue or damage the area. This residue
can be removed by using a decalcifying product or a few drops of vinegar.
Only
use the device on sealed hard floors like marble, ceramic, stone, linoleum, sealed hardwood floors
and parquet. If surfaces have been treated with wax, the wax may be removed by the heat and steam
action. Do not use on unsealed wooden floors or allow the device to emit steam on any wood floor for an
extended period of time. This could cause the wood grain to rise.
Be
extra cautious
when using on vinyl, linoleum or any other heat sensitive surface. Too much heat could
melt the glue in the flooring. For that reason, it is recommended to try cleaning a small isolated area of
the floor first.
It is also recommended to check the use and care instructions of the floor’s manufacturer to ensure
suitability for steam cleaning.
