3 - Control Panel

Cut Button
Depressing the Cut Button will activate the motorized knife assembly thereby
cutting the film. The cutter cannot be activated while the film is in motion.
Following the cut a short film advance will occur during which time the output
cassette must not be removed. When the advance is complete the LCD will
display "REMOVE CASSETTE" at which time the output cassette may be
removed without loss of exposed film. No further functions can be performed
at the control panel until the output cassette has been removed and replaced.

Density Button
The Density Button is depressed when there is a need to change the current
density setting. Using the Right or Left Arrow Button, the density can be
increased or decreased while viewing the value on the LCD (See Chapter 5,
"Changing Default Settings", for changing Density setting).

Menu Button
Depressing the Menu Button will bring up the Menu Selection Display on the
LCD which permits the programming and changing of the machine's default
settings. Operating the Horizontal and Vertical Arrow Buttons, will display the
submenus and functions on the LCD. For each setting that is changed, it is
necessary to depress the Enter Button to save the new value. When
reprogramming is completed, depress the Menu Button to return to the
Machine Status Display.
