UltraFire Wireless Heat Alarms
must
be installed on the ceiling, at
least 30cm from the nearest wall,
light fitting, or other obstruction.
These alarms should be installed no
more than 150mm vertically below
the apex of a pitched ceiling. Where
the depth from apex to eaves is
600mm or less the ceiling should be
treated as flat.
Try to ensure that the alarm is within reach without taking any undue
risks, so that you can perform routine maintenance and replace the
batteries.
Above all else you must ensure that you follow local building regulations,
legislation, and official standards.
