Vehicle is not remote  
starting?

- Count the park light flashes then see the diagnostics page.
- Check battery voltage in the remote.
- Make sure you are with-in operating range.
- Check if the vehicle anti-theft is activating. 
- Reprogram the remote’s using Transmitter Program Mode.

Doors do not lock
Or unlock

- Was this optional feature installed?
- Have your installer check the door lock connector.
- Have bypass or keyless module reprogrammed.

SYMPTOM                  CAUSE/SOLUTION

Horn does not honk

- Was this optional feature installed?
- Try panic mode to see if horn activates. If not,
  have the systems horn output checked.

Vehicle starts then shuts 
off by itself

- Check if the vehicle anti-theft is activating.
- Is the starter motor staying on to log? If so,
  reprogram the tach and try again.
- See dealer if problem is not resolved.

Lights on the antenna 
are flashing

- When the doors are locked by the remote the LEDs will flash until the 
unlock button is pressed.
- If you do not want the LEDs to flash have your installer program the 
LED flashes off.

The system does not 
respond to the remote 
transmitter

- Try your second remote.
- Check the batteries in the remote.
  Reprogram the remote’s using Transmitter Program Mode.
- Make sure you are with-in operating range.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Timer Mode will start the vehicle at a user selectable start interval. The vehicle will 
start at the selected start interval and run for the programmed runtime

*. EXAMPLE: 

If the 4 hour start cycle was selected, the vehicle will start once every 4 hours for up 
to 24hrs. (Default 15 minutes runtime)

Press and Hold LOCK and START for 3 seconds or until the park lights turn on. 
*2 Button remote- Hold UNLOCK and START. (Must be programmed)

While the park lights are on the start cycle may be selected. See below:

NOTE: 

Timer Mode must be set each time the user wishes to use this feature. 

To Cancel Timer Mode

Press and Hold LOCK and START for 3 seconds or until the park lights flash twice.
*2 Button remote- Hold UNLOCK and START. (Must be programmed)

Note- Timer Mode will automatically turn off after 24 hrs. Pressing the brake

 

pedal or 

turning the ignition to the ON position will also cancel Timer Mode.
 

Sets the ONE HOUR interval. The park lights will flash ONCE as confirmation.* 

Sets the TWO HOUR interval. The park lights will flash TWICE as confirmation. 

Sets the THREE HOUR interval. Park lights will flash THREE TIMES as confirmation. 

Sets the FOUR HOUR interval. Park lights will flash FOUR TIMES as confirmation. 

*One and four hour timer is not available with 2 button remote’s.
