UPGRADING TO ETHERNET ENABLED OPERATION:
For users with a non ethernet enabled ID Card Printer, an ethernet upgrade kit can be purchased from
your ID Card Printer supplier.
With this simple drop-in kit you can change your USB
only printer into an
ethernet enabled
printer
To share print over the network within minutes!
STEP 1

Power-up your printer.
STEP 2

Open the lid and remove the dye film that
may have been previously installed (this will
be replaced after the upgrade has been
completed).
STEP 3

Load the blue upgrade tube supplied with the Upgrade Kit.
STEP 4

Close the lid.
STEP 5

The display now shows “Ethernet Ready”.
STEP 6

Remove the Ethernet port cover.
STEP 7

Load the printer driver from the CD
or a web download file and set up
the ethernet port and IP address.
(The Support Utility from the driver CD
is required to set a Fixed IP address).
