Safe functionality may not be guaranteed with a damaged fishing rod.

This product contains sharp hooks, which may cause severe injury to the angler or other persons. 
Please be careful when handling the fishing rod.
• Pay attention to other anglers and other persons and keep a safety distance. Improper casting 
  poses a risk of injury from the flying hook.
• Wear glasses/goggles as well as head protection to protect yourself against injuries caused 
  by the hook.
• Do not perform any repairs. Contact the service center.
• Store the fishing rod away from children.
• Allow children the use of this fishing rod only under the supervision and after instruction by adults.

Operation

Prior to operation
Attention: 

Inform yourself of any national laws and local regulations prior to fishing. These 

instructions describe important notes about the product. Fishing is very varied, therefore we 
recommend that you read additional literature and/or ask clubs and associations for information.

Installing the fishing rod

1. Insert the wheel into the wheel holders (2) Attach it by twisting the attachment screw (1) clockwise.
2. Place the winder (6) into the desired position by loosening the screw (5) on the opposite side and 
    turning it counter-clockwise, then re-tighten after the winder (6) is in the desired position.
3. Loosen the stopper (7) by turning it counter-clockwise. Pull the line (9) from the spool (4) and 
   guide it thought the line bracket (3) through all rings in the fishing rod. Re-tighten the stopper 
   (7) by turning it clockwise.
4. Mark floater, lead, hook, or other fishing system. A swivel is tied to the fishing line (see Dia. 3).
5. Extend the rod segment by segment, starting at the tip (see Dia. 4). Never cast out to extend 
    the segments.

Casting the fishing rod

Turn the backstop (8) on and fold the line bracket (3) forward so that the fishing line (9) can run freely. 
Cast the fishing rod. Turn the winder (6) slightly – the line bracket (3) will lock automatically.

Maintenance and cleaning

Rinse the pole and wheel under lukewarm water after using in salt water. Add one or two drops 
of oil to all movable parts after the wheel has dried in order to maintain functionality and service 
life.
