INSTALLATION AND START-UP
PLEASE NOTE!
The DUCATRON Quattro is designed to be used only in dental prosthesis laboratories. Any other type of
use that the machine might be subjected to immediately invalidates the manufacturer's guarantee.
1.
When unpacking, check machine condition so as to inform the transporter and supplier of any damage
or deterioration to the machine or its accessories. Do not forget to sign the transport form on which
any reservations can be made, and confirm these to the transporter within 48 hours by recorded
delivery letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
2.
After fitting the four adjustable feet in place on the underside of the chassis, position the DUCATRON
QUATTRO on a flat surface.
Allow some 5 to 10 cm space behind the machine.
Use foot adjusting screws to level and stabilize machine.
Please note: This operation is important: any instability brings about vibrations and considerably
increases the machine sound level during any centrifuge operation.
3.
Take out plugs, and then unscrew the four machine panel screws using a crosshead screwdriver.
Remove panel and disconnect earth lead (yellow and green).
4.
Swing out the reservoir holding bracket by partially loosening the butterfly nut.
5.
Free the band holding the cover in place so as to gain access to container.
6.
Fill reservoir with 20 liters of water minimum to 22L maximum. Do not use demineralized water or
distilled water.
7.
Put container - then pump and cover - back in place.
8.
Close up holding band while ensuring all elements are correctly positioned.
9.
Connect up panel earth lead.
10.
Close cover, and then insert the four plastic plugs.
11.
Having checked that the mains voltage is that specified on the machine identification label, connect
power cable to a standard 10/16 A power plug that has an earth prong.
12.
Throw bipolar isolating switch - to the right on machine upright - to ON.
13.
Push START button on control panel.
The cooling pump starts.
14.
The DUCATRON Quattro is now ready to operate.
