ЕFFICIENT ELECTRIC CONVECTOR IONIZER
protection system.
• If the capacity o the device is not higher than 2,000 Watts, its electric connection shall be made
by means by at least a (3x1)-mm cable, if the capacity is between 2,200 and 3,000 Watts - by
means of at least a cable resisting the electric current of 16 А.
• The device must not be plugged into a socket together with other electric devices.
• The socket the device is to be plugged into must be grounded.
• The grounded socket must be above the level of the device.
• The cable must not be on the surface of or closely to the heated body of the device.

5. Safety engineering and fi re-preventive operation guidelines
Before switching the device on you must make it sure that there is no damaging of the power
supply cord and of the device itself. If there are any defects, you should address a specialised
maintenance centre to eliminate them. The device must not be plugged into the mains till the
defects have been eliminated.
The value of the voltage in the electric mains shall meet the requirements due to our recommen-
dations provided in the items above. The device must be connected to the electric mains into a
socket that is aside of the device at least at a distance of 10 cm.
The upper and lower air openings must not be ever blocked with any things or objects (for ex-
ample, as it is shown in the fi gure on the right). No free circulation of the air near the lower and
upper openings in the convector may be prevented, for example, when operating the convector
for drying wet things. Do not place any objects between the heater and the wall.
