       protection system. 

•     If the capacity o the device is not higher than 2,000 Watts, its electric connection shall be made

      by means by at least a (3x1)-mm cable, if the capacity is between 2,200 and 3,000 Watts  - by 

      means of at least a cable resisting the electric current of 16 А.

•     The device must not be plugged into a socket together with other electric devices. 

•     The socket the device is to be  plugged into must be grounded. 

•     The grounded socket must be above the level of the device.

•     The cable must not be on the surface of or closely to the heated body of the device. 

•     The device may be cleaned, kept for a long time in the conditions not fi t to be operated, may 

       be only if it is disconnected from the mains. 

To exclude the risk of having an electric shock in case of any damage of the power supply cord, it 

must be replaced by the manufacturer or by a specialist in an authorised maintenance centre. 

5.  Safety engineering and fi re-preventive operation guidelines

Before switching the device on you must make it sure that there is no damaging of the power 

supply cord and of the device itself. If there are any defects, you should address a specialised 

maintenance centre to eliminate them. The device must not be plugged into the mains till the 

defects have been eliminated. 

The value of the voltage in the electric mains shall meet the requirements due to our recommen-

dations provided in the items above. The device must be connected to the electric mains into a 

socket that is aside of the device at least at a distance of 10 cm.

The upper and lower air openings must not be ever blocked with any things or objects (for ex-

ample, as it is shown in the fi gure on the right). No free circulation of  the air near the lower and 

upper openings in the convector may be prevented, for example, when operating the convector 

for drying wet things. Do not place any objects between the heater and the wall.
