ЕFFICIENT ELECTRIC CONVECTOR IONIZER
4.1 Places for the device installation
This convector was designed to be mounted inside a struc-
ture. If you need to operate the device in some other place,
address for a consultation to an authorized distributor of the
UFO products. The convector shall be installed acceding to
the typical trading practice and valid Ukrainian legislation.
The convector can be installed in the bathroom (Fig. 1), but
beyond the space shown in the fi gure in grey, that is not clos-
er than 60 cm to the bathroom or to the shower cubicle.
Make it sure that there have been provided all the safety
zones shown in Fig. 2.
If to secure the wall coating foam was used, behind the de-
vice a spacer must be left as thick as the foam coating layer
was. This will make it sure that behind the device there is
enough free space for checking if the device settings meet
the requirements.
The device must not be installed directly under the socket.
The device must be connected to the electric c mains through
a stationary socket that is located aside from the device, at
a distance of at least 10 cm. If he device is installed in the
bathroom, or in another room where the humidity is high,
the stationary socket shall be at a distance not less than 60
cm from the bath or from the shower cubicle. To prevent any
malfunctions of the programmes and settings of the device.
Do not install it in draughts, near fans and ventilators, etc.
4.2 Fixing for the installation on a wall
When installing the device on a wall, the fi xing shall be ori-
ented along the central axis of the convector (see Fig. 4).
Step 1:
Release the screw off the fi xing plate, and unscrew
the fi xing plate as it is shown in Fig. 5. Then remove the fi xing
from the device.
Step 2:
Use the fi xing for mounting the device on the wall
as a pattern, so as to defi ne on the wall places for the screws.
Arrange the fi xing for the device mounting on the wall in the
right position, and make marks for the arrangement of the
holes for the fi xing screws. Use for this the 4 mounting holes,
as it is shown in Fig. 6.
