This brush has been specially designed to
clean wooden floor surfaces. The soft hair
bristles brush over the surface picking up
the dust but without damaging the floor.
CLEANING AND MAINTAINING
CONTAINER FULL INDICATOR (13)
- When suction power decreases
considerably and a red marker is moved
into a window mounted on the top of
the vacuum cleaner. This means that the
container is full or that the hose is blocked.
If this occurs empty the container (19)
- Press the release button (11) and
remove the container. Figure11
- Press button (24) to open the base flap
and empty the contents into a dustbin.

- Cover the flap back up to close it again.
Place the container back into its housing
on the vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the permanent HEPA filter
- Press the button (11) and take the
container (19) out of the housing.
- Turn the container lid (20) anti-clockwise
to remove it. Figure13
- Pull off the HEPA filter retainer (23)
and then the HEPA filter using the rib.

Wash the HEPA filter and sponge with
water and mild detergent. Then leave
them to dry for at least 24 hours.
Once clean and dry, fit the HEPA retainer
(23) back into the container (19) and then
put the sponge and HEPA filter into the
retainer, fit the lid (20) into the container
by turning it clockwise until it locks into
position. Insert the fully assembled dust
container back into it housing on the
vacuum cleaner.
This vacuum cleaner has a missing filter
detection system which prevents the lid
from being put back on the container
when the HEPA filter is not fitted correctly.

It is advisable to clean the HEPA filter at
least six uses.
The motor protection filter
The motor protection filter (14) should be
cleaned regularly by knocking out the dirt
and rinsing.
Press the button (11) to take the container
out of the housing, take the filter (14) out
and tapping it.
If it is very dirty, it should be rinsed. Figure
15
After cleaning, place it back, put the
container and lid in position.
