• With Nordson
®
units remove the two screws from the tank inlet.
• Remove the tank lid and replace it by the baseplate of the PowerFill. Use the two supplied screws to tighten
the plate firmly!
• Attach the conveying hose to the nozzle of the funnel by means of a hose clamp. The lance is mounted at the
opposite end.
• Install the solenoid valve in a suitible place on your hotmelt system and supply it with voltage.
• Connect a separate compressed air supply which is independent of the application guns to the solenoid valve.
• Maybe it is uesful do reduce the air supply by use of a choke (not included).
• Connect the compressed air hose which is mounted to the feeder hose at the outlet of the solenoid valve.
• To establish a connection, refer to the 24V DC connectors in the terminal box.
(optional: 230V AC power supply)
• Establish a ground connection between the controler unit and the tank (red cable core).
• Deposit the lance in the material storage tank. Adequate mobility must be ensured for optimal functionality.
Thus, the vibrator can crush possible agglomerates at the lance.
• Switch the PowerFill on.
• Adjust the sensors sensitivity for that the circuit suits ideal to the material. The adjusting screw is located on
the interpreter in the control box.
• By adjusting the height of the evaluation sensor, it is possible to determine the minimum filling level from
which the tank must be replenished. To this end, the filter must be removed. Now, the level of the sensor is
easily identifiable and can be modified after having loosened the clamping screw. Then, the screw can be
retightened.
• The feeder impulse can be prolonged by a time unit. You can change the preset time (setscrew on the time
relay).
