Infra-Red (IR) Receiver
window
The RCU sends a beam to the infra-red window. Do not
block the path between RCU and STB. If an obstruction
(eg. cabinet, TV) prevents the IR signals from the RCU, an
external IR RCU extender (optional accessory) is available.

P+/P- Button Equivalent to
Channel Up
and
Channel Down
on the RCU.

Standby (Power) Button
Switches the STB between
ON
and
STANDBY
(If held down
for more than 4secs the STB will reboot ).

Smart card
VAST™ smart card slot on right of STB. Card must be
correctly inserted to receive encrypted VAST™ TV channels.

7 Segment display
Information display showing various status messages,
clock feature when in standby and shows current channel
number when in normal operation mode.
RESTART Button
This is the secondary function of the ON/Standby button on the STB front panel.
Hold down the
Standby
button on the
Front Panel
for
4 seconds
to perform a reboot.

RED - Standby
GREEN - On
GREEN (Blinking) - IR/RCU Activity
Status
ORANGE (Blinking) - Mail Received
ORANGE - LNB over current
RED - Error Banner
GREEN - Radio Selected
PVR
ORANGE - HDD Space Low
RED - Recording
GREEN - Archive Available
