Mounting the numberplates
You do not require insurance to drive an EAPC in the UK.
In Northern Ireland you will require insurance cover. You do
not need vehicle registration plates in the UK (not including
NI). However, as a type-approved vehicle the e-Scooter
has a plate showing its type approval number. In Northern
Ireland you must mount the vehicle registration number
plates on the vehicle.
In Northern Ireland: Mount the number plates on the
number plate bracket (1) using suitable mounting

As the rear light is simultaneously the number plate
light, the number plate must be mounted so that it is
properly illuminated by the light.
Charging the battery and starting up
Open the cap on the Die charge connection (1) and plug in
the three-pin plug of the charger and then secure with the
threaded fastener. Then plug the mains plug of the charger
into the mains socket.

Use the battery indicator (21) in the display to check
the charged state of the battery.
The charging indicator light on the charger is lit
green.

Charge the battery after each lengthy trip and recharge an
empty battery immediately.

handle it.

Note
When you accelerate the e-Scooter the battery
indicator (21) in the display of the e-Scooter changes.
This is due to the starting current, which the electric
motor of the e-Scooter needs to accelerate to
higher speeds.
The actual charge voltage of the battery is always
displayed when it is not loaded.
