• The unit must only be operated with original parts. The warranty
will be invalidated if the unit is damaged by non-approved acces-
sories!
• Make sure that the cuff and the air hose are not bent.
• Before putting on the cuff, please check if the arm circumference
is in the range specified on the cuff band (see page 19). More cuff
sizes are shown on page 25 accessories.
• Never open or modify the unit or the cuff - this is a medical device
and may only be opened by authorised specialists. If the unit has
been opened, it must be subjected to a metrological inspection by
an authorised institution.
• Please comply with the specified operating conditions for meas-
urement. See page 24 Technical data.
• Before every application, check if the pointer is still resting at zero
point ± 3 mmHg. The pointer must move freely across the entire
scale. If the device has been damaged, it needs to be technically
inspected. See page 26 metrological inspection.
• Shockproof in accordance with DIN EN ISO 81060-1:2012.
• The unit must be used in accordance with the procedures contained
in these instructions and must not be used for other purposes.
