When operating the actuator, follow the
instructions below:
• prevent liquids from entering the
actuator
• do not approach moving parts until
they have come to a complete stop
• at least once a year check at sight for
damages or wear in the supply cable
• do not carry out any intervention
on the actuator, do not remove or
disassemble parts of the actuator;
in case of malfunction or damaged
cable contact “UCS - Ultraflex Control
Systems srl”
In case the window is accessible at a height
of 2,5 m at least provide the system with an
emergency switch off. It is also advisable to
install a maintained contact push-button.
Pay attention when closing the window:
danger of crushing.
Any installation and/or maintenance tasks
are only to be carried out by skilled, specialist
personnel. Existing electrical systems must
comply with the rules in force in the country
where the actuator is installed. Before doing
any maintenance, make sure that the power
supply has been disconnected. Conform to
the wiring diagrams shown in this manual.
The cable types, lenghts and sections must
be choosen according to the technical
specifications provided by the manufacturer.
Cables must be laid properly, so that
they cannot be cut, bent or twisted. It is
necessary to provide the cables laid into the
window profiles with insulating tubes able
to resist to extreme temperatures.
Cables must always be routed by skilled
technicians according to the manufacturer’s
specifications.
The installation of two actuators on the
same window is possible only using Synchro
version actuators.
The power control and the actuators
included in this catalogue are not to be
considered “machinery” pointed out in
the directive 2006/42/CE and following
modification. In case they are included in
systems that are part of the application
field of these directives, it is responsibility
of the installer the fulfilment of the safety
requisites.
In case of installation with automatic systems,
please contact UCS Technical Support. If the
automatic system enables the actuators
continuously, the mechanic and electronic
components could wear prematurely.
