Choose the correct COM port and desired speed, and then click
Update
. The module reboots in
the bootloader and the flashing starts. A command prompt starts in the background to run the
external program
nrfutil. The command prompt closes automatically when the flashing is
completed.

Using the nrfutil utility from the command prompt
To run the nrfutil from the command prompt:

Enter the AT command
AT+UFWUPD=0,115200

To enter bootloader mode, close the UART port and run nrfutil:

Note that the nrfutil version supplied with the s-center installation must be used. Later
versions of the nrfutil utility use a different protocol.

Using an embedded MCU
Due to the multitude of available development environments, u-blox does not supply any utility to
update the boot from any MCU. To help you with the design of your own utility, we recommend the
documentation and code examples available from Nordic.
