Read the radio and the vehicle

Disconnect the vehicle’s battery

before working on the radio.
Insert the proper removal tool(s) into

the slot(s) on the vehicle’s radio, this
will release the locking mechanisms.

4. Carefully pull the radio out from the
vehicle’s dash. The radio may fit
tightly into the dash and might be
difficult to remove. Gently move the
radio back and forth to ease it out
of the dash. Use of excessive force
when removing the radio could cause
damage. (See Figure B)

5. Disconnect the antenna and electrical
connectors from the back of the
radio. Before removing the electrical
connectors, have the anti-theft
code available (if applicable) for
reinstallation.
