
Troubleshooting
I cannot pair the TytoApp and the Tyto Device

Check that your device is turned on (it can take up to a minute to
auto-connect to your app).

Check that you are using the correct Wi-Fi password and try
pairing again.

Check to which network you are trying to connect.
Currently, the Tyto device cannot connect to a 5GHz network.

Try to pair using your phone hotspot and not the Wi-Fi.
I cannot turn off the Tyto Device

Press on the device menu icon
and select
Shutdown
.

If the device is unresponsive or stuck on a screen, press and hold
the top button for 10 seconds to force a shutdown.
I am experiencing poor video or sound quality

If you experience poor video or sound quality, make sure you are
using TytoHome as close to your router as possible.

Try using your phone hotspot for connection.

Check your Internet speed with your internet provider or by
running a speed test. There are sites that provide this service for

Minimum bandwidth requirements are 2 Mbps (megabits per
second) for both download and upload.
Recommended bandwidth: 5 Mbps download, 4Mbps upload.
