10.6 Protect your device
Protect your SIM card by PIN
You set a PIN (Personal Identification Number) to protect the SIM card.
·
Set a PIN.
Steps
：
Click
>
Settings>Security> Set up SIM/RUIM card lock>
Lock
SIM/RUIM card.
Use the keyboard to enter the PIN code. If you want to change the PIN, please click
“Change SIM PIN”.
Note
：
You do not need to enter the PIN at any time to make an emergency call.
Unlock the SIM card
If you enter the wrong PIN code more than the allowed times (3 times), your SIM card will
become the “PUK locked”, You must enter the PUK code in order to restore the device.This
password will be provided with the service provider's SIM card.
Click on an emergency call, and then enter the following sequence
：
**05*[PUK]*[New PIN]*[New PIN]#
For example:
If your PUK is 888888, and you want the SIM card's PIN be reseted to
7777, please call the emergency telephone
：
**05*888888*7777*7777#

APP Install and manage
This Tablet can support Android APP in Google Play store or market by third party, most
Apps can install in the network, can copy to NAND FLASH or SD card. Click App installer
icon, will appear Install, manage, Exit options.
Install: Click install, enter APK install interface Separately for Internal Memory disk and SD
Card disk. Select the APK you would like to install, click it to install, go back to main menu,
will display the installed app you just selected.
