COOLING SYSTEM
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is designed with an external
oil cooler with stone guard arrangement for optimal
engine cooling.
The oil cooler is mounted in front of the engine which
improves the engine durability and provides better
heat management without any compromising the
engine performance.
The air thrown above the spark plug cools the plug
and maintains its temperature in optimum level.
Which in-turn results in better heat management
without any compromise on the engine performance
and improves the engine’s durability.
RAM AIR DUCT
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is designed with a ram air
duct on the right side of the fuel tank. This ram air
duct throws air exactly above the spark plug while
the vehicle in move.
Care should be taken not to block the ram air duct air
passage by cover or any other means. Else it will lead to
over heating of engine or seizure.
