2. Connect the
PLAN and
MODE/
PLAN
contacts until all three personal/ altitude adjust-
ment modes appear. Release your fingers immedi-
ately at this point. The current mode is now blink-
ing (Fig. 4.8). Wait at least two seconds but not
more than four seconds before the next step.
3. Connect again the
PLAN and
MODE/
PLAN contacts until the blinking personal/ altitude
adjustment mode starts to scroll. Release your fin-
gers when the desired mode is blinking (Fig. 4.9).
Wait at least two seconds but no more than four
seconds before next step.
4. Connect the
MODE and
MODE/
PLAN
contacts to confirm this new personal/ altitude
adjustment mode (Fig. 4.10). The blinking will
stop and the other mode indicators will disappear.
5. The process is ended by the RETURN command, i.e.
by connecting all three contacts at the same time (Fig.
4.11). The
IQ-400
will return to the surface mode.
4.4 Setting Time and Date
The current date and time is read by connecting the
MODE and MODE/PLAN contacts for about two
second, as described in Section 3.2.3, “Calendar
Clock Function”.
Once the Time Setting mode is activated the princi-
ple when adjusting the clock is that:
• the
MODE and
MODE/
PLAN contacts
scroll through the different displays.
