Create Access
1. Create or cut access opening for electrical wire
and hood exhaust under the cabinet.
2. For easy installation, cut about 1⁄4” larger
ducting and plug diameter.
3. Lift the hood up and have it placed below the
cabinet. Make sure to center the hood beneath
the cabinet and flush with the front of cabinet.
4. Since the hood is heavy, assistance is required
to hold the hood in place while affixing.
5. Use as many mounting holes as needed to
secure from the inside of hood.
Electrical Connection
SAFETY WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. This range hood must be properly grounded. Make sure this is done by
qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable national and local electrical codes. Before connecting wires,
switch power off at service panel and lock service panel to prevent power from being switched on accidentally.
1. Connect the range hood to a designated standard outlet or cut off the plug and connect three wires (black,
white and green) to house wires and cap with wire connectors. Connect according to colors (i.e. black to black,
white to white, and green to green).
2. Store excess wires in the wiring box.
3. Turn Power ON using control panel. Check all lights and fan operations.
4. Make sure to leave this Installation Guide for the homeowner.
CAUTION: Make certain the range hood
is secure before releasing!
6. Secure the hood by using screws though the back of the hood to the studs behind wall.
7. Connect the exhaust on the hood to the ductwork. Wrap with aluminum tape making all joints secure and tight.
8. Install oil tunnel/oil container into the recess at the rear of the hood.
9. Install baffle filters
