as back-up only. Please disconnect the mains power and turn off the battery
switch on your alarm before completing this step.
Socket type selection
Australian homes are fitted with one of two kinds of telephone wall socket
connections. Compare your telephone wall socket with the diagrams below and
proceed to the appropriate installation instructions.
Type 1
- Modern RJ12 telephone wall socket (page 10).
Type 2
- Traditional 610 telephone wall socket
(page 11).
