Type 2 - Traditional 610 wall socket
Connect the telephone line
Plug the new white telephone line into the alarm unit socket labelled ‘LINE
IN’, and then connect to the front of the telephone adaptor (Diagram 10).
Connect the telephone adaptor
Unplug your existing telephone connector lead from the 610 wall socket,
and replace with the telephone adaptor (Diagram 11).
Connect the telephone lead
Re-attach your existing telephone connector lead to the end of the
telephone adaptor (Diagram 12).
Test the connection
Reconnect the mains power by completing step 3 (page 7). Then place a
test call to the response centre by completing step 4 (page 8).
