5.8 Sweeping proile adjustment
Before carrying out the following tasks irst read
the safety instructions in Chapter 2 - Safety.
Also, familiarise yourself with the task sequence
described.
• When operating the Kompakt sweeping machine, a
sweeping proile of a = 6 - 10 cm width should appear.
(When lifting the sweeping machine, the swept area
should have a width of 6 - 10 cm).
• Check the sweeping proile on even ground.
If the width is no longer suficient or the pressure of the
sweeping drum onto the ground is too low, the suspension
of the sweeping drum must be readjusted evenly on both
sides (1) + (2) via the raster lever system (1).
Take into account the sweeping drum's weight
when adjusting the levers!
Danger of getting squashed! The palm must
always point towards the centre of the machine
when operating the raster levers.
• Pull the raster lever (1) of the raster setting backwards.
• Latch the raster level into the desired position on the
adjustment raster (3).
• Carry out the raster setting of the sweeping drum evenly
on both sides.
• Check that the width of the sweeping proile is a = 6 - 10
cm.
