Blocking Unrated/Exempt Programs

The Unrated/Exempt Ratings option lets you decide if programs that the V-Chip recognizes as unrated 

or exempt can be viewed. Unrated TV programs may include news, sports, political, religious, local 

and weather programs, emergency bulletins, public announcements, and programs without ratings. 

The Exempt option applies to both US and Canadian unrated programs and Canadian programs rated E.

Press the down arrow to highlight Unrated/Exempt Ratings. Then press the OK button or the right 

arrow to toggle between View and Block.

View

    All unrated programs are available.

Block

  All unrated programs are not available.

Reset Downloadable Data

When you select this option, a confirmation box opens. Press 

 to select

downloadable rating data, if present.

 to place a checkmark in the box to block the  

    input. When you tune to that input, you’ll need to enter a  

    password to view the channel. 

Note:

 HDMI 3 is not available for models L32HDF10/

L26HDF10.

F. Change Password

This option allows you to set a new V-Chip password. From 

the Parental Control Menu, highlight 

Change Password

then press 

 to enter 

Change Password

 screen. Using 

the digit keys, enter a new password and press 

OK

.

G. Reset Password

If you change your password, then forget it later. you can 

follow the steps below to reset your password:

1. Highlight
