A collector ring is just going to contact and the
surface of the brush must be smooth.
When you are not smooth, carbon etc. should
adhere between a brush and a collector ring, and
since it is dangerous, please polish with
sandpaper etc.
The length which can use a brush is 5 mm to 11
mm.
Please exchange, when set to 5 mm or less.
If the length of a brush becomes short, the
contact pressure of a brush and a collector ring
will become low, and will make generator
efficiency and voltage low.
