any case, always bear in mind the normal safety precautions concerning the use of inflammable
substances.
Do not suck up toxic, harmful or inflammable substances.
This manual must always accompany the machine, wherever it goes.

Residual risks
When using the sweeper, great attention must be paid to the so-called residual risk areas or to the work
areas surrounding them, which can present danger for persons or things if the machine is used incorrectly
or if the user makes an error of judgement or inattention, omitting to follow the advice given in this
manual.
There is a residual risk of fire and explosions due to the use and handling of fuel, in the case of models
with a combustion engine.
There is a residual risk of inhalation of fuel vapours due to the use and handling of petrol, in the case
of models with a combustion engine.
There is the general risk due to movement of the vehicle (if applicable, see also the rules of the

filters and when emptying the hopper.
There is the risk of coming in contact with the overheated surface of the engine head.
There is the risk of knocking persons down due to inadequate use of the machine, or to distraction of the operator.
There is the risk of inhalation of carbon oxides by the operator due to the presence of the combustion engine.
In the case of particularly dirty environments and cleaning operations, there is the risk of inhalation of dust so, in
these cases, it is advisable to wear a mask.
There is the risk linked with insufficient or inexistent maintenance which leads even to situations of serious danger.
There is the risk of crushing and pinching between the moving parts of the machine.
