4.5 Replacing Ribbon Supply Spindle and Ribbon Near End
Sensor
1. Loosen the screws and remove the Spindle Outer Washer.(Please refer to the 4.4
figures)
2. Take out the Compression Spring.
3. Remove the Spindle Inner Washer.
4. Remove the Ribbon Spindle.
5. Remove the Nylon Washer.
6. Loosen the Hexagon Socket Headless Set Screws and Nylon Washer Support Plate.
7. Remove the Ribbon Near End Sensor PCB Ass’y.
8. Loosen the screws of Spring and Spring Support Plate and remove the Spring and
Spring Support Plate.
