4.4 Replacing the Ribbon Rewind Spindle
1. Loosen the screws to remove Spindle Outer Washer. (Please refer to the following
figure)
2. Take out the Compression Spring.
3. Remove the Spindle Inner Washer.
4. Remove the 1” Ribbon Spindle.
5. Remove the Spindle Leaf Spring.
6. Remove the Stainless Washer.
7. Remove the Shaft Bearing.
8. Remove the Felt Fabric.
9. Loosen the Hexagon Socket Headless Set Screws and remove the Felt Fabric Support
Plate.
10. Remove the E-ring.
