PTSC 926 Supplementary Speed and Registration Display
The speed display element of this device is in fact a ‘stand alone’ speed display with its
own integral Doppler radar speed measuring instrument and as such will require its own
sensitivity settings and speed violation threshold setting.
These settings will be set prior to the unit leaving our factory but on rare occasions these
settings may need to be adjusted by the end user if the device is deployed into an
environment where the violation speed threshold is different from original deployment.
In order to communicate with this device, you will need a lap top PC with the Houston
Radar setup tool already installed and most importantly you will have need to install
the FTDI RS232 to USB driver into your lap top prior to plugging into your
supplementary display.
The Houston Radar software suite and the FTDI chip drivers are situated on your setup CD
provided with this equipment.
