The LCD screen can be used in the Setup
menu to view the configuration details.

Button to enter the menu.

“OK”-button
Use the “OK” button to confirm or execute a
function. The “OK” buttton switches the LCD
screen off when in recording mode.
Switching off the LCD screen saves the
batteries.

“DISPLAY” button
Choose display on LCD screen. Switching off
the LCD screen saves the batteries.

Loop for carrying
strap.
Attach the carrying strap through the loop.

Battery cover
Protection for the batteries.

Memory card cover
Protection for the memory.

USB connection
The USB connection is used to connect the
camera to a computer in order to transfer
images.

Tripod connector
The stand nut is used to fix the camera to a
stand. This optional accessory is used to
keep the camera steady. This is particularly
useful when taking pictures at night with little
light.

Video out connection /
adaptor connection
Connect the video out cable to this and
connect the other end to a television so that
you can view the images on your television.
You can also connect an adaptor (not
supplied) to the camera.

Inserting/removing the batteries
Follow the instructions given below to insert or remove the batteries
N.B.:
Make sure the camera is turned off.
Open the battery cover and insert the batteries as shown on the inside of the battery
cover. Close the battery cover.
The text “Battery almost flat” will be displayed on the LCD screen when the battery
voltage is low. Replace the batteries on time.
